What are your office hours?
A. – Our Cape Coral law firm office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. eastern standard time. However, on occasion, we may be able to accommodate clients before or after hours by special appointment. This may entail an additional fee under certain circumstances. We have a 24-hour answering service for emergencies.
Do you give phone consultations?
A. – Mr. Arias will respond to telephone questions in general terms. He does, however, prefer to give in-office consultations by appointment in his Cape Coral law firm office in order to ensure each client receives quality legal advice.
What is a consultation, and does Mr. Arias charge a consultation fee?
A. – A consultation is an initial meeting with your attorney to discuss your legal matter, the facts and circumstances surrounding your case, and the resolution you are seeking. Mr. Arias charges a consultation fee for all cases, except personal injury or workers’ compensation cases.
What is a “contingency fee” agreement?
A. – It is an agreement that is entered into between the Fort Myers personal injury attorney and the client where the client does not have to pay any money upfront. Once the case has been settled through mediation, or trial, the attorney receives a percentage of the settlement amount, or verdict. Mr. Arias only enters into contingency fee agreements for: personal injury, workers’ compensation and social security disability cases.
What is a retainer and does Mr. Arias charge a retainer fee?
A. – A retainer is an amount of money agreed to between the attorney and the client after the client consults with the attorney and decides to hire the attorney. The retainer is placed in a client trust account at the law firm’s bank. Mr. Arias will charge a retainer fee depending upon the circumstances of the case, except for personal injury, workers’ compensation and social security disability cases.
Will my case be handled personally by Mr. Arias?
A. – Yes, all cases are handled personally by Mr. Arias. He believes in giving personalized, professional legal services to all of his Cape Coral clients.
